Viele Modellbahner nehmen für ihre Modelle in Spur G (Aristo-Craft, Bachmann, USA Trains usw.) die zierlichen Kupplungen für "Spur 1" (1:32). Es gibt sie sogar passend für den G-Schacht. Für  sehr lange oder schwere Züge und große Steigungen ist aber doch die etwas klobigere Kupplung "G" empfehlenswert.
